Yuniel Espinosa Castro Born in1983, Artemisa, Cuba.
He is a Cuban contemporary artist and Art Professor in his country. He graduated with high honors of Licentiate in Education, Specialty: Plastic Arts Education at The Higher Pedagogic Institute “Enrique Jose Varona” in 2006. In the same year he began his work as a teacher of Art History in the school of “Instructors Art” of Havana Province. Yuniel also imparted art classes to children of middle school level in several schools of the Havana City. In 2007 he moved to The United States.
Since early age, the drawing became his great passion; Yuniel's artistic career began at 20 years old, when he made his debut at Gallery "El Castillito" in The University "Enrique Jose Varona" (2003). He made many group and solo exhibitions in Cuba, Spain, and Canada. His Artworks has obtained awards and recognitions in the Art Exhibitions in Havana, Cuba in 2003 and 2006.
Yuniel`s style is based on different thematic experimentation, treatment of color in proportion to the representation of feelings and emotions, managing unexpectedly compositional element, to enrich a world of memories. In all his work, Yuniel was influenced for the Dadaist and Surrealist Art movements. He transforms objects of daily life in a personal system of symbols. He create a stirring world that to invite to reflect on social issues and the typical essence of human.
Yuniel lives currently in Miami, Florida, where is fully involved in his creative work; getting in his First Group Exhibitions in the United States “ First Prize in Painting”. Some of his work has been collected by important art collector, of some European country, Canada, and United States.
